Located in St Lawrence, Hamptonne offers an insight into Jersey, le temps passé. You can get close to 300 years of Jerseys rural heritage in this collection of farm buildings and meadows. Hamptonne is an idyllic site, offering the hirer a more sedate evening of entertainment, a civil wedding or a meeting room away from the pressures of St Helier (see the bottom of this page).

Hamptonne House, restored to show what life was like in the 1640s, is the perfect location for pre-dinner drinks. Followed by a stroll through the archway to the compound, that can accommodate a marquee for 150 people.

Guests can be greeted by the ever popular Goodwyf, to enchant them with tales of local gossip, whilst leading them to different areas of the site to watch the baker making traditional cabbage loaves, the spinner, bonnet makers and furniture restorer practising their skills.

Prices for after hours functions include one security person and existing lighting and toilet facilities.

Due to noise restrictions no amplification is allowed after 12.00 and the site has to be cleared by 1.00am.

JOAN STEVENS ROOM - meeting room

The Joan Stevens Room is the ideal venue for an out of town conference or workshop. Our conference room is situated on the second floor above the Cider barn. The room is bright offering natural sunlight, blackout, kitchen and toilet facilities.

Your catering needs can be taken care of by the on-site Café, who are more than happy to provide refreshments throughout the day. Lunch can be provided in the Café itself or alternatively, can be pre-booked and served in the Joan Stevens Room (lunch menus are available direct from the Café).
