Welcome to self-catering accommodation with a real difference. Jersey has a large number of historic buildings, from a seaside folly to defensive forts and towers built during the Napoleonic era and the Second World War, that have for many years only been accessible to small groups of people. A programme of restoration by the Jersey Heritage Trust and funded by the Tourism Development Fund, is now underway to bring these buildings back into regular use. As well as the holiday accommodation - Fort Leicester, Barge Around, Corbiére Radio Tower and La Crête Fort - Jersey Heritage also has basic 'stone tent' accommdation available for short term hire for a family barbecue or picnic, fishing trips, as a base for leisure activities and outdoor pursuits or a corporate gathering.
